1.Do you have cakes ready-to-go?Yes, our Vanilla-Rum cake is ready to be custom-finished with a variety of styles to choose from and is typically available in a few minutes. Size are limited to 10, 15 and 20 portions.
2.How much time before an event do I need to place an order?In order to assure availability, we recommend that orders be placed at least one to two weeks in advance. For wedding cakes we recommend, at least, two to four weeks prior to the wedding.
3.When can I come in for a tasting?Anytime, but it is always best to call in advance to make sure we have specific flavor available for tasting.
4.Do I need an appointment?Appointments are not necessary, though recommended for special occasions. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday at any of our store locations.
5.Do you deliver?Yes, we deliver cakes in the South Florida Area. Delivery price is determined by distance and set-up.
6.Can I order through the Internet?Unfortunately, due to the custom aspect of the business, we cannot take cake orders over the Internet.
7.Can you ship a cake?There are no current shipping methods to ship a decorated cake, unless it is hand carried by someone.
8.Do you have corporate accounts?Yes. Many companies set-up corporate acounts to celebrate employee birthdays, to give cakes to customers, or to celebrate any company events.
9.Where else can I buy your cakes?You can only purchase our cakes from our bakeries. See the location page to find a bakery near you.
10.What flavors do you offer?All our cakes are baked using high-quality, all-natural ingredients. Our signature recipe is a Vanilla-Rum cake. Other flavors include Chocolate, Marble, Lemon, Orange, Amaretto, Guava, Pina Colada and Colombian Fruit Cake.
11.What are your hours of operation?Store hours are 8:30am - 6:30pm, Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays.
12.What is the difference between buttercream and fondant?Buttercream is a more traditional icing. It is creamy and decorated with spatulas, and piping. Fondant is a sugar-based, cake coverture that can be easily molded and colored to give different designs. Fondant can take the form of different textures, matte surfaces, pearls, or edible elements like gold and silver.
13.What fillings do you offer?Our cakes are very moist and delicious all on thier own, fillings aren't necessary. Nevertheless, we offer an array of fillings such as strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, guava, dulce de leche, chocolate fudge, chocolate mousse and custard (natilla).
